ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING SESSIONS & BEHAVIOR CONSULTATIONS
One-on-one sessions and behavioral consultations are available for people who need help resolving various canine behavioral issues in their home environment. I offer a gentle and fun approach to training and modifying behavior in dogs, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement, positive association and effective communication. All training is customized based on your lifestyle and your dog's temperament and needs. Common canine behaviors that can be addressed include:

GROUP CLASSES
PUPPY SOCIALIZATION
The main focus of this class is off leash socialization with other puppies and people, a key step in showing your puppy that the world out there is a "good place"! We will also talk about the prevention of problem behaviors such as nipping, chewing, digging, barking, and house soiling. We will also begin some obedience such as Sit and Down. The class is held in a disinfected, safe environment.
Requirements for Puppy Socialization class include: First set of DHLPP vaccinations, age between 9 weeks and 20 weeks

WELL-BEHAVED DOG
In this class, you will learn various self-control and relationship-building exercises that will help your dog become a happy and well-mannered member of your household. Exercises include Sit/Down, Stay, Come When Called, Leave It, and Loose Leash Walking.
Requirements for Well Behaved Dog class include: Up-to-date DHLPP vaccinations or titer, age 5 months or above

OUT AND ABOUT
The Out and About class is held at various locations on the North Shore, and is geared towards dogs and owners who have some basic obedience training under their belts. We will visit places such as the beach, park and shopping center, and work with real life distractions and situations, such as greeting strangers and other dogs, and obedience and loose leash walking amidst distractions.
Requirements for Out and About class include: Up-to-date DHLPP vaccinations or titer, basic obedience, age 5 months or above

OWNER TRAINING DOG WALKS
Walking your dog is not just about exercise - it's an essential part of training and bonding with your dog, and should be fun for both you and your dog! I offer "owner training" walks for people who are dedicated to walking their dog and would like to learn how to eliminate undesirable behaviors that are preventing them from enjoying the walks. In addition to explaining and recommending various tools for walking your dog, I will help you resolve common issues including the following:
~ Pulling on the leash
~ Over-excitement towards other dogs, cats, etc.
~ Excessive sniffing and territory marking
~ Lunging, barking and snapping at other dogs
$60 for a one-hour training session and dog walk
BOARD-AND-TRAIN
Board-and-train, which combines boarding and training, is available for people who would like me to assess and train their dogs in my home. Board-and-train includes:
