MALIBU (ʻAUKAI)

Malibu is the whitest of the litter. Her coat is a sandy silver color. She is a female and seems to be more independent than most of her siblings. She is one of the biggest of the entire litter so far and seems to sleep a lot, which explains her baby photos.

Malibu is still the biggest of the litter. I just noticed this past week that she has beautiful blue eyes! She has been exploring the yard quite a bit, and I’ve seen her playing with the other puppies. She has also met my big male Labrador Solo. Despite Solo towering over her, she didn’t even flinch.

Malibu continues to be Big White. During feedings, she is the last one left standing and still licking the bowl, while the other pups have passed out or walked away. Malibu occasionally plays with the other pups but she acts more like a mature adult in a puppy body!

Malibu has been matched up with a forever home. Her new name is ʻAukai. She, along with Moonshine, were quite popular due to being gorgeous and confident yet fairly mellow pups. Her blue eyes have got me wondering if the dad was a Siberian Husky or an Australian Shepherd???

10/14/2018 (almost 8 weeks old)

‘Aukai went to her new home today where she will be living with a couple of other dogs. I hope she fits in well!
