THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

DATE / TIME: Sunday May 24th, 2020 / 9am to 4pm
LOCATION: Pearl City

Learn scent work foundation skills from expert detection dog trainer Lauralea Oliver.

This hands-on workshop will introduce you and your dog to the foundation skills of scent work. Workshop exercises will build the dogs’ excitement for hunting and develop their natural scenting abilities through the use of food and toys. Scent work is not only a fun activity for dogs of all ages and sizes, but a great way for shy ones to build confidence, and for high energy pups to get mental and physical exercise. No prior obedience or training experience is necessary to participate.

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to learn from an instructor with experience training a variety of dogs, from shelter dogs to Elite Champion dogs!

Pre-Requisite for Working Spots: Dog should be comfortable and fairly quiet being crated out of sight from his/her dog owner. Dogs needing space from other dogs is okay, but dogs with serious human directed aggression are not well suited to a seminar environment.

WORKSHOP FEE:
Working Spot (attending with dog) – $150
Observer Spot (attending without dog) – $65
