INTRODUCTION TO K9 NOSE WORK® with Jill Marie O'Brien CPDT-KA, CNWI

Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. The activity and sport of K9 Nose Work® utilizes detection-style methods, and is designed to develop your dog's natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. It's a great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy.

This introductory full day workshop is designed not only for the dog owner looking for a fun outlet for their dog, but also for future K9 Nose Work instructors and dog sports enthusiasts interested in teaching or competing in national trials. Jill will take you through the foundation process to get any dog started in this fun sport. You'll be hooked as soon as you see your dog's face when he realizes he will be rewarded for using his nose!

BEHAVIOR ADJUSTMENT TREATMENT for Aggressive & Fearful Dogs
with Grisha Stewart CPDT-KA

Behavior Adjustment Training, or BAT, rehabilitates dog reactivity by looking at why the dog is reactive and helping him or her meet his needs in other ways. In a nutshell, BAT is a dog-friendly application of 'functional analysis' that gives the dogs a chance to learn to control their own comfort level through peaceful means. It's very empowering to your dog, in a good way.
